Weaving Webs of Influence

Studying studio art and education, Nico Kazlauskas explores the connections between teachers and students, and the ways intentional and unintentional interactions shape how we learn from one another. Drawing on educational theory, Nico shares how these connections influence behavior, customs, and norms, showing that life outside of school remains an educational realm where natural learning and teaching happen every day. Nico Kazlauskas is a Studio Arts and Education major at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Within his work, Nico explores how everyday connections and shared experiences shape how we learn, create, and perceive the world. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
