Stage Design for TEDx 2026

For TEDx 2026, Nico served on the Exec Team as a curator. He was subsequently asked to design a new stage design for the year's event.

The theme of 'The Introspective Approach' led Nico to think about ideas of climbing, persistence, and struggle. With a background in rock climbing, Nico turned to ideas of hiking, climbing, mountains, peaks, and strategic movement to represent the speaker's stories, placing the speakers in a field of mountain peaks as they share how they climbed their own personal mountains.
Vision
After working as a curator, Nico was named TEDxDirector for the 2027 event. Working with a new stage led Nico to form a new initiative under his directorship of an annual installation stage design program, hopefully leading to new concepts for stages each year for TEDx.
